Аннотация
Пачатак прамысловай і Вялікай французскай рэвалюцый адзначыў кардынальныя змены ў метадах вядзення ваенных дзеянняў. Увядзенне масавай канскрыпцыі і бесперапыннае ўдасканаленне зброі на працягу наступных стагоддзяў аказвалі значны ўплыў на структуру і характар баявых раненняў і адпаведна на практыку ампутацый канечнасцяў. Адначасова прагрэс медыцынскіх тэхналогій і вялікія адкрыцці, такія як антысэптыка і антыбіетыкі, унеслі свой значны ўклад у эвалюцыю гэтай хірургічнай практыкі. У гэтай частцы артыкула разглядаецца развіццё майстэрства ампутацый у звязцы з ваеннай справай з канца XVIII стагоддзя да нашых дзён.
